60th post: It's 31 December 2010, the last day of year 2010. Sigh. 2010 has been a great year for me. When I say 'great' it doesn't really have much of a positive meaning. It probably means that my journey in 2010 is like a rollercoaster ride, full of ups and downs. When I finally managed to stand up, I got another setback. I guess this is life. Adapting to the new JC life wasn't that hard, it's the culture of the JC that is hard to adapt to, particularly in AC. I mean I'm doing fine this year. I got good friends, clique and other funny and weird people around, but they are mostly from schools like Nanhua. I think I'm just too lazy to mix around with those English-speaking people, or probably I'm just too afraid to do so. But being in AC really broadened my perspectives because I'm no longer studying in a Chinese-speaking environment in an all-Chinese school. Just try my best to adapt next year again haha. BM test, the big thing in 2010. I was really scared the shit out of it when it's like only one month left before BM. I swear that's the scariest and mindf***ing test that I've ever ever taken. I know it may seem like some kid thing to some people and they can easily pass BM, but it's different for me. I only started learning swimming in march and 6 months later I'm going to sit for BM to be certified as a lifeguard. Eventually I still passed :D That's like soo much happier than getting 10 points for O level's (I cried when I learned that I scored only 10 points LOL). Actually other than BM, I don't really know what's the next big thing in 2010 already haha. Probably Pawin's departure to UK? Getting a B for Biology during Terms and U for Promos? PW? Oh PW. I will never forget how much hard work my group members have put in. I admit that I didn't really put in much effort and contribute much to the WR, but at least I did most of the design stuff ._. I have weird but funny group members, with very different personalities. It makes me wonder how we managed to cooperate with one another so well despite our personalities. Maybe it's kinda like a forgive-and-forget thing. I think we really motivate ourselves really well, especially with Shimin and Jerrica in my group. Hope that we will get our As as we have hoped for (or rather, have deserved LOL). 2011 better be a good year. And I wonder what will we be like when August comes.. |
