HEHEHEHE I PASSED MY BM TEST! :D It's like the most wonderful thing that happened to me in so many months lol, even much better than topping the class for Biology terms. My hard work really paid off and I'm so proud of myself, as well as other lifeguard peeps. All of us clocked before 3min hehehe. I was the slowest among them all but at least I clocked 2:58, which is a very huge improvement from the previous 3:30. I had a bad headache immediately after the clothing tow, probably due to the blood rushing to my head. I thought that if I passed my clothing-tow test, the rest would be a breeze for me. However, it didn't turn out to be so. The next section was chin-tow. Man, I was bloody tired after chionging the clothing-tow. When I was swimming to the other end for the chin-tow section, I wasn't moving my legs much and kept telling myself 'wth, damn tiring, you're reaching soon!' Come to think of it, I wonder why I even said 'wth, damn tiring' to encourage myself haha. Chin-tow was obviously worse than clothing-tow because I could only swim with my legs. Well, thanks Shingz for whatever he did to help me (: The next section was deep water resuscitation. Thankfully this hasn't been a problem for me since I passed the LS123 test. I was kind of afraid that Shingz's head will go under water when I was towing him, but nevermind lol. I sort of cheated a bit by cutting short the EAR and CPR timing because I was damn shagged already. The examiner was also like 10m away from me so he couldn't even see what I was doing. Coach was clever enough to distract him by talking to him hahaha. The last section, the initiative, was kind of a nonsense because the examiner was like crapping throughout the test and only around 6-8 people were tested. The rest of us just sat down there and answered stupid questions asked by the examiner. I was talking and talking and the examiner didn't ask me any questions lol. And this concludes the end of our BM test hahaha. Hehehe that's my coach commenting on the BM test on Facebook. Well indeed we've passed with flying colours, at the expense of our study time. But it's nothing compared to the sense of achievement that we get after completing the test. I was kind of happy to see that the spirit of Lifeguards was livened up today. Everyone was cheering and encouraging one another. I kept hearing words like 'good job', 'jiayou', 'all the best', 'goodluck',' well done', etc. Now, I'm not even embarrassed to say such words in front of people. I realised that it really helps when someone says something encouraging to me. You'll know that at least he/she will be backing you up and you'll have to work much harder in order not to disappoint them. Alright, reality check: 3 days of holidays left before school reopens and I haven't really studied much. Shall mug throughout the remaining three days of my holidays (: |
