10th post: 050210 ACJC ORIENTATION CAMPFIRE Yesterday was certainly a boring day. We had talks straight after morning assembly till 2.40pm, of course with breaks in between. Due to extreme boredom, Sean and I started playing Hangman, lots of rounds of it till we were rather bored playing it. I got totally owned by Sean's 'mobile' because that was the only word that I couldn't get and died. After that we drew some super lame but interesting faces of people. Here we go:  I slept during the last talk because my eyes were quite dry and I was really tired. Anyway the teacher also didn't really cared whether I slept or not because I was sitting near the back of the hall. I only woke up when it was time to go off yay. At the concourse, Rex was cheated by Sean and Charmaine Ong to do a forfeit by spinning 40 rounds while looking at his waterbottle held up high and then jumping over it. At least he was being sporty enough to do the forfeit. Unfortunately, he got ultimate dizziness just after spinning 5 rounds and he just fell to the ground as if he fainted. Then many of us were like OMG! I was damn shocked that he got so dizzy until he fell to the ground just after the 5th round! Sean(and probably Charmaine Ong) was like laughing away while the rest were helping him up. He couldn't even stand properly after getting to his feet. Was it that serious? Janell and I did 5 rounds on our own, it wasn't that dizzy anyway. After that we set off to Fusionopolis(again) in the rainy weather for our OG Dinner with Christabel. Crystal and Han couldn't make it because they had something on. Meanwhile I was spamming pictures using Charmaine Tan Gui Qiu's camera so you can go to her album in her facebook to take a look :D Fortunately we didn't go to The Soup Spoon tmd damn ex place to have our dinner. We went to another place called E18hteenth whatever name is that I don't really care. Well the meals there were at least still affordable. The OG was kinda split into two groups while we were at the place. Well, unfortunately I was sitting among a group of girls who can really twist my words man, but luckily I was always attentive enough to counter their words teehehehe. Anyway I really enjoyed my time there because we had so much fun. Sean kissed Shidong, but with a tissue paper in between their lips. Their lips didn't even touch one another's. After that we headed back to school because Christabel said that Crystal was lonely in school LOL. Then we changed to our orientation tees before settling down for games yay. Okay games were like those funny funny ones so I shouldn't dwell into them. We had to go up to the hall for the fireless campfire after playing only a few games. After that I also took some pictures while I was in the hall using Gui Qiu's and Christabel's camera. The campfire wasn't very interesting in the beginning, but it soon got to its peak after a series of inter-clan competition. Oh sidetrack a while, I was really really disgusted by that buff bespectacled guy who was playing in the ending-with-a-question game. He's damn gross and disrespectful la. Some of the guys even said things like 'why must I respect you when you're just a cleaner?' just for the sake of winning the game. Then a lot of us were like jeering at him. Didn't they have any sense of shame at all? How could they even say that out loud, in front of the whole J1 cohort and OGLs somemore. Thank goodness they weren't in my clan man. Okay back to the main topic haha. Hmm then we had our mass dance and couple dance, followed by games and other dances which I didn't really enjoying doing. After that was a series of cheers and high songs. Everyone was like forming caterpillars or choo-choo-train whatever you call it and then ran all around the hall. The last time I did it was in Sec3, when I was in-charge of 103'08 for orientation camp. BUT THIS TIME WAS MUCH MUCH MORE FUN AND HIGH THAN THAT! I was sweating profusely after running all around in the hall and getting high to English songs even though I don't even know those songs LOL. Anyway it's like, just go with the high atmosphere and you'll find it comfortable! I really really like it a lot, it's like a disco in ACJC! :D However, the campfire ended with a few cheers and college anthem, aww damn sad, and then finally a prayer(again). Then Eos went out of the hall and waited for everyone, including the OGLs to come. We had our last 'debrief' and it was so heartwarming. The OGLs took turns to talk about their thoughts. And when Christabel was saying how she felt about the days we spent together, she cried. Seeing her cry, I also teared a little. It was so heartbreaking to see her cry. After that we present our gifts, which were notebooks with our pictures in it, to the individual OGLs. As expected, Christabel cried even harder, but she calmed down soon. Then the whole Eos and OGLs huddled and hugged one another in a tight circle and shouted Eos. That small action really warmed my heart. I mean like, I've never done such a thing before and it's like the first time I was so reluctant to leave my seniors even though we will still be able to meet one another in school. Aye, just blame myself for always being so emotional. After that I took out my instant camera to take pictures of the three wonderful OGLs and gave each of them one picture as a souvenir, I kept one too. I hope they will really remember us as a wonderful OG and I really appreciate what they have done for all of us despite the busy curriculum of a J2.  THANKS CRYSTAL, CHRISTABEL AND HAN! I'll remember you guys forever. |
