LOL I didn't realised that I've not updated my blog for such a long time. Anyway it's been a hectic week. Again, I'll try to cut short the details of this week's happenings. Monday 22/01: It's the first day when all the J1s used their new personalised timetable. I also had my first mass PE which was quite okay. It's like nothing compared to canoeing training. We had to run 2 rounds around the track as a warm up. Then we did 20 push-ups, 30 crunches, 30s of half-squat, and 2 rounds around the track. All these exercises were repeated once more and that's the end of the PE lesson. I left halfway during PW to go to the skin centre hehe, PON. Tuesday 23/01: Nothing special actually... My first GSC lesson was cancelled because the teacher wasn't in school yay. After school I went for Interact Club's briefing and in the end I didn't sign up LOL. All the timings to do CIP didn't suit my school time. I was rather guilty for pangseh-ing the rest who went with me to Interact Club. Wednesday 24/01: GSC lesson was the first period of the day. Man it was boring I really wished I was out of the class asap. I really couldn't stand studying in a class with so many cheena people around, particularly when we were all studying Chinese, the subject which they're strong in. There's Biology practical and it was rather boring. After school was road run, damn. I cabbed down to WCP with Jonathan and Chungkai and it was only $6.20, quite affordable. I slacked throughout the run because I had MC hehehe. Actually I would rather run than to sit in the tentages which was damn boring. I had fun with my OG for some time and went home with Liying, Kuaiwen and Seehwee. Thursday 25/01: My first swim PE! It was quite fun and of course, embarrassing and awkward much as that was the first time we see one another in swimming attire. I bet a lot of girls were ogling at Jianher's AWESOME SIX PACKS ROFL. We were tested on breaststroke and freestyle first before Mr Ng decide on which swimming group we should go. Obviously, I was in the noobest of all Beginner group. I have to comment on Pawin's freestyle because it's simply elegant and beautiful! I've never seen such nice freestyle before! I heard that he got into freestyle Advanced. 'Advanced' is the best group in the swim PE, followed by Power, then Balance. I was taught how to blow bubbles HAHA. The only bad thing was that I had nose block during PE and I had difficulties breathing air out by my nose under water. I was so tempted to breathe in underwater la. Okay after PE lesson, the toilet was packed ttm. The last four periods of the day were for GSC. Man I arrived late so I was kind of isolated-.- I mean I was sitting alone in front. That cocky cheena bitch refused to move her things away so I couldn't sit with her, wth. We went through two 'reports' in class and were told to do a 报章读后感 in the last 30min. I was already mind blocked even before starting to write. When I finally managed to complete a page (we were told to write two pages), I had a mind block again-.- GG. Fortundately, the bell rang in time and I just kept my things quickly and rushed down to the candeck. It's hockey time! Again I was a loner in the bus to Sengkang hockey pitch. I was sitting directly in between the guys and the girls zzz. So I slept throughout the trip since I was rather tired. When we alighted, I was standing all alone even though I was beside a group of guys. Suddenly, a guy in the group called me to join them so I was like okay lor... Then I started introducing myself. A: 'Hello I'm Edison, what's your name?' Me: 'Uh, Kee An.' A: 'Huh how to spell?' Me: 'K-e-e, A-n.' (I don't know why for some reason I always have to spell my name out for others whenever I introduce myself) A: 'Oh okay...' B: 'Hi I'm Scott.' C: 'I'm Samuel.' Me: 'Hello.' A: 'Is this your English name?' Me: 'No...' A: 'Hmm... Maybe we should give him an English name, like Keane or something.' *Laughs Okay this conversation is totally retarded. I almost had an English name because of this, but Keane isn't that bad after all haha. I also got to know a guy called Pranay. The first thought that came across my mind was 'Roti prata' and the next one was 'Shananay' LOL. Prata + Shananay = Pranay Okay enough of that, I didn't mean to laugh at people's name. Actually I wasn't laughing in the first place. In case you don't know who or what is Shananay, simply go to Youtube and enter 'Shananay' and you will see a guy called Shane Dawson dressed like a hedious-looking but hilarious lady. Okay we did some drills first until the OM from ACJC came. He's from the hockey league or something so he'll come down to help the hockey team when he has time. He quite nice actually, and rather humorous as well. The training ended at about 8.30pm and I reached home at 10pm plus, going 11pm D: Friday 26/01: Hair and uniform check after morning assembly, and I was caught because of my 'long' hair. My hair wasn't that long but somehow it was caught, whatever. And the guys were made to stay in the hall till it was their turn for a haircut by a barber downstairs. Well I stayed in the hall from 7am plus till 12pm plus, which was around 5hours. I MISSED 5HOURS OF LECTURES AND TUTORIALS AND CHEM SPA! What the hell. I really don't know why ACJC has to go to such extent of sacrificing their students' time just for a haircut IN SCHOOL! Seriously, which is more important, studies or haircut? I understand that the following Monday is Founder's Day, but who the hell will comment on the students' hair? I mean like, if I were the guest-of-honour or some VIP, I wouldn't even care about the students' hair. That was totally nonsensical rubbish. Thank goodness after school I went back to Nanhua with Seehwee to meet Adriel , Yijie, Linda and Angeline for bball session :D Liying finally came after don't know how long. I had a lot fun during the matchs and I totally sucked at bullet. I was owned by Adriel man. LOL. After that we went to the staffroom to find some teachers but Mr Liu and Mrs Chang weren't in the staffroom, sad. We had a talk we LPS then we went back to play bball. We left at 7pm plus(I think) and I was nagged at, as usual, by my mother for coming home late. Blah whatever. Saturday (Today) 27/01: BOTANIC GARDENS WITH SHUHAO AND KATIE! We're a bunch of photog freaks roaming around the garden of green with specks of colourful flowers. We went there to picnic and then we were off to take pictures again. Pictures after pictures we took, and of course not forgetting my purpose of going there. I finally took a nice shot of Katie with my paper roses :D We carried on exploring the Botanic Gardens while madly taking pictures. We sure had lots of fun and laughter there! The things there are damn expensive. One bottle of 500ml Ice Mountain mineral water costs $2.50. It's daylight robbery! After that we went back to the picnic place and took jump shots and some random shots haha. Then we took a bus to Dhoby Ghaut for dinner. The ice cream there tasted awful and the creamy chicken pasta don't know what tasted worse than mine. The good thing was, there was a free flow of drinks and ice cream hahaha. After that we took the MRT to Lot1 and then went back home. Phew... It was an awesome day indeed. I hope to get my DSLR asap so that I can take nice nice pictures like my shifu Shuhao LOL. Okay that's about the week. Hopefully I can get the pictures from Shuhao soon and upload them here. Bye! Sunday, February 21, 2010
SAVE ME FROM THE WRATH OF DOING MATH TUTORIALS! I spent one whole afternoon doing Math tutorials and I've not even completed it. And now I'm gonna give up since my brain is going to fail on me if I continue to rack my brains to solve those shit questions. Gah total failure, but I bet there will be people out there who are worse than me. SO I SHALL COUNT MY BLESSINGS! 1... 2... No more D: Okay whatever. I was also quite disappointed just now because I couldn't go for jogging due to the heavy rain. I went for a jog yesterday anyway, and I got a stitch! Damn it. It's like I broke my own distance record and then I got a stitch halfway. I was left with no choice but to stop jogging and walk with the stitch, sigh. My mother even wanted to order McDelivery today for dinner wth. Luckily she changed her mind and asked my father to buy zi char instead. After dinner I continued with the Math tutorial which I gave up on shortly after that. I might as well spam questions at the Math tutor tomorrow lol. I'm not looking forward to PE tomorrow. ACJC's PE lesson is nightmare to many students, I can be considered as one of them LOL. Initially I looked forward to attending ACJC's PE lesson, but after looking at the rate at which the J2s perspire and pant, I think I should take back my words. I also heard that they have to run 10 rounds on the track which I have no idea if it's true or not. 10 rounds means 4000m! On the other hand, I can train my stamina since I like to run so much haha. Speaking of running, I really regretted writing down my holy name onto the paper to take part in the competitive run this Wednesday D: I will confirm be one of the last ones to reach the finishing point given my current standard, sigh. I think I just try my best to JOG, not run, because I will have no stamina if I try to speed. IT WILL BE RECORDED IN MY PORTFOLIO! So for the sake of nice-looking portfolio I shall just run for the sake of running hahaha. I think I should go sleep soon, tomorrow will be the start of the busy schedule. Nights! HELLO! I've been mia-ing for the past 4 days and I'm finally going to blog today. Hopefully I can summarize everything from Monday till Thursday. Okay Monday I just spent the whole day at home doing tutorials and using tablet. In short, Monday is a no-life day for me because I didn't go bai nian or anything. Tuesday was a least a bit more life because my family and I went to my father's friend's house to bai nian, or rather gamble. I lost like around $10 while the my father's friend lost like $200 - $300. The reason they lost so much was because they were betting like $10 and above, seriously insane. And there were two sisters who became bankers at the later part of the day. Their luck was damn damn good. The got banluk for the first time and banban for the second. I was like *stunned. Okay then I stopped playing after that. So they played as bankers for quite long and guess how much money they swept away from the others? IT'S A BLOODY $1.4K! It's damn siaow la! I couldn't imagine people winning more than $1k from small gambling. I could buy a DSLR with $1.4k D: Damn it. That's about Tuesday... I had school on Wednesday and Thursday so... yeah, just typical school days la. I went to gym on Wednesday with Honghan, Jamie and Mich L hehe. Oh yesterday was very slack. Our last lesson of the day ended at 11.30am so we were like play those kind of games in the canteen. Not the whole class played actually, only those people who were more enthu like Sheryl, Mavis, Adeline, Jonathan, Jerrica, Eldora, Sophia and blahblah played. By the way I just noticed that the names which I've just typed are all English names. Oh yes, Chia Lishan just gave me an English name called Brock while she's called Ash and Jianher is Misty LOL. I think Jianher doesn't know that he's called Misty so nevermind. Okay we had tons of fun playing in the canteen. After that Mavis, Eldora, Jonathan and I moved to the library and played Monopoly LOL. I wanted to do my Chemistry tutorial initially, but since they wanted to play so much, then just play with them (: Anyway the game turned out to be damn fun although Jonathan was dominating in the later part of the game with his 3 hotels. He had 13 $5000 notes at the end of the game which amounted to $65000, and that was only his $5000 notes, he still had lots of $1000 notes and 3 hotels as property! Mavis went bankrupt first, then me, and lastly Eldora. Eldora was always lucky enough to get back the money from somewhere after paying $9500 to Jonathan when she landed on his property. Finally she went bankrupt and Jonathan was the imba person who gained monopoly in the game of Monopoly lols. After that we settled down to do our Chemistry tutorial and it's quite nice to do homework in the library because of the conducive environment for studying, which is also conducive for sleeping. At about 4.30pm I left the library with Jonathan to attend Interact Club's welcome tea. Well, it's quite boring there. There were lots of people that, espcially girls. There was a girl who was from 1SC1 who looked sporty, and I went 'whoa' when she introduced her own class to the rest. They played games that failed miserably and gained little response. I would rather hear them talk than to play games. Oh one stupid thing I remembered. I ate 3 marshmallows and the empty plastic package was passed to me for don't know what reason. Anyway the shocking part comes when I saw that one of the ingredients which was used to make the marshmallows was 'gelatin(beef)'. BEEF?! I cannot eat beef! But anyway I ate it accidentally so I was forgiven lol random. After that I went home on my own, sad. Yesterday was the first time I go home alone D: Luckily I met Jerrica at Jurong East and we chatted in the MRT haha. I TIO FEVER AGAIN WHEN I GOT HOME. 37.6°C. Don't ever think 'Aiyah, 37.6°C only ma... Nothing much la.' It's possible that you might have fever at that temperature, so no play play. Same old remedy, I slept without switching on my fan and pillows + blanket on top of me to make me sweat. I really sweat a lot, I also don't know why. And yay I recovered within 1.5hours :D and of course with the help of fever pills LOL. ---------------------------- Today was very fun hehe. Geography lecture was a torture because the aircon wasn't switched on damn it. After that Chungkai, Jonathan and I went to the library to blow aircon and do homework. (Actually Chungkai went to play computer games la LOL). Hmm Biology was rather interesting today as compared to other Biology lectures. After that Jianher, Pawin, Chungkai, Jonathan and I went to play squash HAHA. I seriously suck at squash man. It's either I always miss the ball or I hit to softly/hardly. Softly as in the ball didn't touch the rectangle, and hardly in a sense that the ball flew and hit the ceiling/hit the window just below the ceiling/almost flew out of the window. I'm so used to the badminton style that I always hit the ball upwards, that's why it always flew towards the window. The rest were all much better than me, aww. Luckily I didn't take up recreational squash as CCA because I will be owned like siaow even though it's only recre. Jonathan and I left halfway and went to the base class for contact time. The girls were really high and crazy for don't know what reason. Then went some of the girls quietened down, Lim Lishan and Jerrica started talking and talking lols. We got our new personal timetable and I was rather sian after looking at the dismissal times. The dismissal times are: Monday: 4.10pm Tuesday: 3.50pm Wednesday: 1.50pm (CCA Day) Thursday: 4.10pm Friday: 1.50pm I think I will love Friday a lot and I might go around saying TGIF TGIF TGIF TGIF... Lols enough. We left the school and went to Pizza Hut at Bukit Timah Plaza for class lunch! :D We had lots of cold jokes and really lame riddles during the lunch, plus exclusive racist jokes which we even used alphabets to represent the various races because we were so afraid of letting other people hear us LOL. We had a really fun time yeah. I don't know about the other table, but I think that my table was livelier that the other haha. All of a sudden, there were two staff with cakes in their hands and the birthday song was played through the speakers. So they were actually celebrating birthdays for the January and February babies, so nice! I was like 'whoa the cakes free one ah?' And I finally got the answer when someone said the cakes were bought using the money from class fund °. The ones who saw that went 'Whoa!' but after that he told us it's just a trick LOL. Then everyone started learning how to do that trick blahblah. 1SC8 is such an interesting class! 1SC8 CAMWHORED OUTSIDE BUKIT TIMAH PLAZA! Yeah we really did. We took quite a number of group photos AND exclusive candid CLOSE UP SHOTS of the 1SC8 peeps haha. The girls were like complaining about their unglam looks in the candid shots, damn funny. I had to run up and down the steps because I had to operate the camera sigh. I just spammed the self-timer even when everyone's not ready for a shot. After camwhoring, we went separate ways. I took 985 home with Ash Chia Lishan and Sophia. I felt quite guilty for not going to Han's performance and Jonathan's house. Okay I didn't really say I wanted to go to Han's performance but as a junior in his OG, I should go support him right? But I did not. And I didn't go to Jonathan's house despite his several requests. Since a lot of people couldn't make it, so we decided not to go to his house. ANYWAY, there will still be many more chances right? It probably is a silver opportunity, but it's never a golden opportunity, so I won't have to be that guilty over these matters. (self-consolation in process) I shall go now! Bye. Sunday, February 14, 2010
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR & VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE! It really sucks when you cannot travel around Singapore to relatives' houses to collect angbaos during CNY. I went to my 大姑's house to bainian in the morning without having breakfast. I guess those tidbits and cookies were our breakfast lol. I was still hungry after eating those fatty stuff. After that my sisters used my handphone to camwhore-.- because my dajie's camera had no more memory left. Then we went to 大舅's house. Fortunately there were meesua so I was able to have a proper meal finally. After eating, we just stoned at the table while looking at those guests coming and talk talk talk then leave. It's damn boring man. At least I managed to play blackjack after the guests had taken their leave. I won a few dollars hehehe. So the fortune teller in the teevee is right, the rooster's luck in terms of money will be good this year :D So for the whole day I was at my uncle's house, luckily it's air-conditioned. Just the typical stuff to do -- eat, play, watch teevee, talk, sian. My mother, auntie and cousins even played Heart Attack then I was like o.o The ages of my mother and auntie can already add up to 100 years and they were actually playing this kind of game. I could only say that they are very young at heart LOL. Because all those who played Heart Attack were females, you could imagine how noisy the whole house will be. Screams and shouts everywhere. I couldn't even here the sound from the teevee although I was sitting directly in front of it. After that we 捞鱼生 together, so damn squeezy la. I really prefer to lo hei with Ben10 brothers and sisters because it was so fun when we did that in the food court on Friday. Anyway the lo hei tasted better than the lo hei bought buy Wenya and Fion from Cold Storage or whatever. Time for dinner! I really loved the soup then 舅母 made, although I think it's the meesua soup + yesterday's steamboat ingredients leftover. I drank like 4 bowls of it I think hahaha and I was totally bloated after that. After dinner, it was time to stone again. I didn't want to go prawning because I feel like mugging tomorrow LOL. Okay maybe the mugging mode will be turned off tomorrow but who cares. I'll make sure that I study tomorrow since I won't be going out hehe. Well, it's not really mugging, but just doing some boring tutorials and getting myself to familiarise with the concepts. After that we went home at around 9pm. Along the highway, there was this dumbass driver who attempted to cut into the lane that my father was driving along without sufficient distance between the two cars. So my father accelerated slightly to impede him to cut into the lane, but that asshole still cut in. And then he cut back to his lane after driving past a car on his original lane. Feeling damn pissed, my father sped past him while giving him a 'knnbccb' look. The driver also gave a 'wtf-is-this-driver' look with a 'kpkb' hand sign. (wow I actually do know a lot of swear words o.o LOL) That's not the worst. The worst thing is, THAT ASSHOLE WAS DRIVING A CAR FROM A DRVINING CENTRE! It's such an irony when the back of the driving car stated 'Thanks for your patience' or something like that when the driver was actually such a bitchass who sped and kpkb somemore. I really felt like complaining to the driving centre man. This kind of bastard should just crash into a tree and die one day (Omg I'm so childish lolol) But seriously, they ought to learn how to be courteous road-users and stop pissing others off unnecessarily. We reached home safely (duh) and felt rather refreshed after bathing. Tomorrow will be another boring day but at least I have my tablet to accompany me LOL. 8 FUN-O-RAMA TICKETS LEFT. WHO WANTS TO BUY FROM ME?! Wednesday, February 10, 2010
It's a wonderful day today. I don't know why I just felt quite happy throughout the day except for the trip to school in the morning because I wasn't feeling very well. Furthermore, I had to wait for 9min for a LRT train to come, wth. Perhaps due to an early night's sleep last night, I wasn't feeling very sleepy during morning assembly today. Oh anyway Mich L. is back to school yay otherwise I might feel a little lonely even though I'm much more sociable now haha. After that we attended the GP lecture on Critical Thinking, boring~ There wasn't much for us to copy to, and even if we have to copy, the lecturer change slides too quickly. After that we sat at the canteen AS A CLASS YAY. Like for the first time we sat in as a class except for some missing sheep. Then we went to the CPA to play games haha. By then I'd already familiarised with everyone's name, pro right? We played a series of games like the hmm-jiji-hmm-ji game, MRT game, Murderer and some others. Well the Murderer game ended with a shock for me because when I looked at my watch when the game ended, it was 10.30am, the time for Geography lecture! Fortunately my watch is 5min faster than the usual timing, so we had just enough time to go up to LT4. Chungkai, Jonathan and I were the only people in our class taking H1 Geog. Oh and I couldn't believe Chungkai is a retainee at first because he looked like those guai1 guai1 boy although he's from rugby. He must have felt very bad for being retained, but in this way, he could score well for tests and own our class! Lols nevermind about that. Anyway I was so unlucky because I had to move a seat away from Chungkai and Jonathan during Geography lecture. I wonder why ACJC has so many spoilt seats in the lecture theatres. The Geography lecturer was entertaining but the contents of the lesson were really hypnotising me. Those stuff wouldn't be tested anyway, why bother to go through them in such detail? After that we went to the library to do Maths, NOT MUGGING PLEASE. Okay I was pretty amazed when I saw so many people studying (rather noisily) in the library. Some were just chilling out in the library while waiting for another lecture to come, I bet. Then we went down to LT2 for Math lecture. Miss Su was sure damn funny when she pronounced the words. Some of the examples are: *Understanding. Miss Su's pronunciation: Onderstanding *Hyperbola. Miss Su's pronunciation: Heeper-blur Jonathan and I were rofl-ing at her weird pronunciations, especially the word 'hyperbola' because she pronounced it in a way which was totally different from the correct pronunciation. She taught us the hyperbola stuff but many of us didn't understand. So she continued explaining for like 15min until at the end she finally told us that stuff wasn't in our syllabus LOL. She damn best la. She rattled on and on for so long and after she told us that it wasn't tested. She just wasted her time and our brain cells man. After that we attended the Chemistry lecture whereby the lecturer just kept talking and talking non-stop sigh. Beside me was a spoilt seat again. In total, I sat beside 3 spoilt seats in 4 lectures today, which means that out of the 4 lectures that I've attended, I sat beside a spoilt seat during 3 lectures, wow. This completely reflects how considerate ACJC students are, or how lousy the quailty of the seats and foldable tables are hahaha. I don't really care about the spoilt seats anyway, since there are so many seats in the lecture theatre. After Chemistry was contact time. I kinda enjoy contact time because I think my class is rather spontaneous about the various activities like the upcoming Fun-o-rama. Mdm Lui distributed 20 Fun-o-rama coupons to each of us sigh. I wonder how am I going to sell all these coupons. During the discussion of games and food for Fun-o-rama, the class was rather active, I like it hahaha. I suggested Old Chang Kee LOL, my favourite curry puff :D I also blah-ed out carrot cake. The word 'carrot cake' wasn't even registered in my brain before saying out, probably because I ate carrot cake this morning so I just blah-ed the words out. Okay whatever. Bubble tea is not a bad suggestion though, it's suggested by Jonathan. Jianher suggested a fun game as well, since he's the Assistant Games Rep lol. Well I'm not going to reveal anything here, later people go kope the idea hahaha. After school I went for hockey trial with Wenya and Charmaine Tan Gui Qiu LOL. Hockey was damn fun! Although my back aches for bending down for a long time. Bryan told us that our thighs will become big and muscular and our back will become strong over time. I don't want a big thigh though, because I might look unproportionate with my skinny calf. Furthermore, the training schedule for J1s is much better than volleyball's, and there are many Nanhua seniors in hockey, last but not least, Eos' OGL Christabel! So volleyball or hockey? The hockey stick looks so damn cool! The hockey trial ended quite soon. Wenya and I went to IMM to change her swimming costume (LOL). SHE CHANGED TO A LARGER SIZE :O I'm not gonna reveal the size because I think she will smack me upside down if I say it HAHA. After that we went home and we were eavesdropping some office ladies talking about their daily gossips hahaha, quite interesting. It's not something which can be heard in school anyway. I think I talk too much already. MBTI tomorrow! Tuesday, February 9, 2010
